Seaweed farm trial site, west side Loch Bay, Loch Dunvegan, Skye

A trial of seaweed farming will be laid in Loch Bay, Loch Dunvegan, Skye on about 7 February 2024. Full details are in the Notice of Deployment. Special Yellow buoys will mark the ends of the trial equipment. The trial site is marked on the chart in the Notice of Deployment by small dots near the 20m contour.

A larger area of seaweed farm is proposed, subject to satisfactory trials. Notice will be given when this happens.
