Partrac Ltd. is deploying a metocean seabed frame monitoring system for a cable project between the Mainland & Mull approximtely one mile east of Lady Rck in the Firth of Lorn.
The frame is being deployed for 35 days and will then be recovered.
Partrac plans to carry out the frame deployment within week commencing 2 November 2026 over one day, weather permitting, using the multicat vessel Tom Scruby. During activities, the vessel will be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre and will display the appropriate lights and shapes prescribed by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
Other vessels are requested to provide a minimum clearance of 50m from the installation vessel during operations, and post-installation, and to pass at a safe speed.
