Dornie Pontoon proposal - public meeting Thursday 6 Feb

Dornie Moorings Association (DMA) would like to install a pontoon in the village, and several moorings in nearby waters. DMA is carrying out a ‘pre-application consultation’ (PAC) to allow local communities, environmental groups and other interested parties to comment on the proposed pontoon development before a licence application is submitted to the Marine Scotland Licensing Operations Team (MS-LOT).

A public meeting will be held to discuss the proposal, and we are keen to hear the views of local people, as well as receive comments from relevant public bodies and regulators.

Pre-Application Consultation Meeting Details:
Thursday 6th Feb 2025,
7– 8.30pm,
Dornie Village Hall, IV40 8DY

A presentation will be given at the meeting, including location, site design, environmental and social considerations, and alignment with Scotland's Marine Plan. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. A Q&A document will be published by the DMA after the meeting. More information about the Dornie Moorings Association and proposed pontoon and moorings is online, or contact info@dorniemoorings.co.uk.
