MachairWind wind farm survey west of Dubh Artach and Islay April 2023 to April 2024

Surface buoys and seabed equipment have been deployed at two locations west of Dubh Artach and Rhinns of Islay in connection with the MachairWind offshore wind farm. These items will be in place for at least 12 months from April 2023.

Mariners are requested to keep a distance of 500 metres from each deployment location.

Surface equipment west of Dubh Artach are transmitting their locations via AIS. The Rhinns of Islay metocean Wavescan buoy is not currently transmitting its position via AIS.
