Gunna Sound submerged acoustic monitors - amended locations

NatureScot, in collaboration with University of Exeter, have deployed ten Acoustic receiver Canisters (ARC) in the approaches to Gunna Sound.

The ARCs are all in depths over 10m but extend about 1m above the sea bed.

The ARCs monitor the movement and residency of tagged basking sharks in the Sea of the Hebrides.

The positions have been updated to reflect changes following the first round of servicing and retrievals.
